Just sewed on a button. I pulled out thread, needle from Nonny’s sewing basket and thought about what mom said about her. She said that the hardest thing was to see her slippers aside her bed, as if she expected another day. Take my advice - don’t set slippers by your bed; they’re killers. Just sewed on a button, expecting that my shorts and I will spend tomorrow upright. But, if not, please no bagpipes.
